Helston Railway Company Ltd have recently launched their Viaduct Appeal 2025. This aims to raise funds to enable the purchase the Cober / Lowertown viaduct. This is a big milestone for Helston Railway in getting as close as they're possibly able into Helston. All extra money raised will got towards the upkeep and maintenance of this fantastic structure. The stone was taken from a quarry on the Trannack side of the viaduct so didn't have to go to far to be fitted.
They are looking for 200 founding members who will get a special gift and certificate on joining. We are hoping to be able to offer a special train on the opening of line across the viaduct. Guided walks will be offered once we have secured the funds and purchase is complete. There is also a sponsor a stone option, which are priced according to significance.
