Like the whole country we were upset with the news we all heard on Thursday and a few tears were shed.  We were also faced with what to do about our Heritage Transport Weekend which was planned to happen on Saturday and Sunday which so many people had worked hard to bring to fruition.  Our decision was based on what we knew about our Queen -her steadfast determination to do what she believed was right, to do her duty and to never give in.  So we decided to turn the weekend into a celebration of her life.  We did make a few changes but essentially it was a chance to show what we thought about this amazing woman.  As this is being written we are about to go into day 2 of our Transport weekend.  Some of you reading this would have visited us yesterday – we hope to see more of you today.
