Sorry – we aren’t open yet

Thank you for all your enquiries and kind words – we appreciate your support, as always, and look forward to seeing you all again.  However for the moment, along with many other heritage lines, we unfortunately and reluctantly have to remain closed to the public.  We will be reviewing this regularly so please keep looking at our website and facebook pages for up to date details.  As soon as we have any more news on when we can reopen we will let you know.  In the meantime we will be undertaking some vital maintenance work so we can treat you to a first class experience when we do open again!

200 Club news

Our first draw of this year’s 200 Club has taken place, and the winners are Mrs R Holton, Jean Moyle, Robert Pryer, Margaret Evans, Barbara T Coxhead and Steven Clothier.  The full details are on the 200 club page.  If you are a member of our Society, and you want to join, we still have places available just go to that page and follow the details there.

During Lockdown

We have been making daily inspection tours by a volunteer during the lockdown to make sure that everything was being kept safe. We want to thank all of those who helped us to accomplish this.
For those of you who don’t follow Facebook you might like to know that whilst we were locked down our cutting of the Gwinear Road Station rose has flourished; and is setting off the Truthall Station approach beautifully.

Thank you!

And finally, we’d also like to thank all of you who donated to our fund raising to help keep us financially solvent during those difficult times.  You raised over £5000 for us which was amazing.  We are keeping our EMAPP fund alive so if you have any spare pennies for us please use the donation button.  To borrow a phrase – every penny helps!
Keep safe – and many many thanks from us all……..
